Born in Brockton, Massachusetts, Attorney Bunszel attended Marshfield High School and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies (American Bar Association accredited) with a minor in Psychology from Elms College. During her undergraduate studies, Attorney Bunszel began to contemplate attending law school. After five years as a paralegal, Attorney Bunszel began her law school career at Suffolk University Law School (SULS) in Boston.
While attending SULS, Attorney Bunszel was the National Co-Director of Membership and a National Conference Planning Committee Member for the National Women Law Students’ Association. She also participated in several clinical programs as a student-attorney, defending juveniles at Boston Juvenile Court and representing victims of domestic violence in family law matters at various Probate and Family Courts in the Commonwealth.
Upon graduating from SULS, Attorney Bunszel began working as an Associate Attorney for the law firm of Kurland & Grossman, P.C. in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, where her focus was family law litigation and probate/estate matters. She has appeared before the Massachusetts Appeals Court on two Probate and Family Law cases. While employed in private practice, Attorney Bunszel continued to represent victims of domestic violence as a Pro Bono attorney through Community Legal Services and Counseling Center, Inc. in Cambridge. Since relocating back to the South Shore, Attorney Bunszel has continued her legal career and has spent the past two years reaffirming her dedication to the practice of Family Law.
As a result of her years of practice in the Probate and Family Courts, Attorney Bunszel is very cognizant of the fact that her clients are dealing with very difficult emotional and financial issues. Her goal is to help her clients navigate their way through the court process with an individualized, personal approach.
Attorney Bunszel has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and Greater Lowell Bar Association and is presently a member of the Plymouth County Bar Association. She has also dedicated her time to several community-based, non-legal organizations, including the American Cancer Society. She enjoys spending her down time with family and friends.
