Before joining Cohen Cleary, P.C., Attorney Langfield worked as a law clerk with Schonland & Associates, P.C. and as a legal intern with South Coastal Counties Legal Services. Attorney Langfield concentrates on litigation, employment law, consumer protection, and other civil matters. Attorney Langfield has extensive experience representing employees in claims for wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, unemployment, unpaid wages, FMLA, and other employment based legal issues. Attorney Langfield has also represented numerous employers including various companies that have Cohen Cleary, P.C. on general retainer for all their legal needs. This includes representing smaller “mom-and-pop” businesses to representing larger national corporations. In addition, Attorney Langfield has also represented collective bargaining units through negotiations, contract disputes, and grievances. Attorney Langfield rounds out the remainder of his practice with a strong track record for success in consumer protection, landlord tenant, probate matters, contract disputes, debt collection, and personal injury matters.
Attorney Langfield prides himself in predominantly representing individual plaintiffs and claimants. Attorney Langfield, however, also provides risk mitigation, legal defense, and other legal services to Cohen Cleary, P.C.’s various corporate and institutional clients. In representing both individual and corporate clients and having served as both plaintiff and defense counsel, Attorney Langfield has unique experience that helps him to develop efficient and cost effective legal solutions. Attorney Langfield has obtained experience litigating matters in the Superior Court, District Court, Probate and Family Court; Small Claims Court, Housing Court, Department of Unemployment Assistance, Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, Department of Labor Relations, and the Civil Service Commission.

Attorney Langfield is a graduate of Bridgewater State College. Attorney Langfield earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Massachusetts School of Law at Dartmouth in 2013.
