Education and Background:
Attorney Cohen was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and spent 11 years in Colorado. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder, majoring in psychology with a minor in law. During her undergraduate program, she developed a strong desire to assist individuals in need of legal representation.
In 2008, Amber Cohen earned her Juris Doctorate degree cum laude from the University of Massachusetts School of Law at Dartmouth (formerly the Southern New England School of Law). During her time there, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Roundtable Symposium Law Journal and received the Sarah Clarman Bernstein Prize for Academic Excellence. Additionally, she was recognized with the Academic Achievement Award (class rank #2) and honored with the Pro Bono Award by the New Center for Legal Advocacy.
